Science and Technology meetings usually consist of a presentation on a scientific or technical topic, followed by a Q&A session – and then a cup of tea with biscuits! Visits to places of interest are also arranged occasionally. The group has 120 members and warmly welcomes new enthusiasts with an interest in science and technology in its broadest sense.
Subscription to the group is £10, which covers you for 2 years. The fee pays for room hire and speakers’ expenses. Monmouth u3a guests are welcome at £2 per session.
Non-u3a members may attend once as a guest before being required to join Monmouth u3a. Please contact the Convenor for further information, or just turn up to a meeting if you would like to join Monmouth u3a and the Science and Technology Group.
