Life, Death, and the Tabloids by Ned Kelly
We are all used to seeing headlines in the tabloid press about what gives us dementia, gives us cancer or makes us immortal. How many times have we been told that things like coffee or red wine are ‘good for us’ in some way or another and the following month they should be avoided at all costs. Whenever I see the word ‘breakthrough’, I reach for my gun. This talk will go behind the headlines and explain why, nine times out of ten, the story does not back up the headline.
