he Monmouth u3a Origami group meets up at the Estero Lounge, 95-97 Monnow St, Monmouth NP25 3PS from 10.30am – 12.30pm on the second Thursday of each month. Next meeting is on Thursday 12th June. Anyone who is interested in learning more about origami – the art of paper-folding – is welcome, whether total beginners or with some previous experience of the art. Just turn up, it’ll be quite friendly and informal. We will have some tables reserved on the ground floor. £2 charge for materials to cover paper, photo-copying etc. The general idea is to try to make each month’s folds topical or seasonal, and learn new folding techniques as we go along.
