The Local History group aims to explore the long and fascinating history of Monmouth. There is usually a talk from a knowledgeable historian plus a question-and-answer session, followed by a cup of tea or coffee. There are also occasional research/discussion meetings, as well as visits to places of historic interest in the summer.
The annual subscription is £10 a year, and there is a small meeting charge to cover room hire and speaker expenses.
