If you are interested in playing the ukulele, then why not come to one of our sessions and have a go? You do not need to have a ukulele to start, we can loan one out for a week or two. The current members vary from beginners to well accomplished players and you learn through playing rather than structured lessons. There is always someone in the group who can help and advise.
We are a newly formed group but hope to eventually do performances but this will only involve those who want to take part and may not suit everyone.
The style of music that we attempt to play (and sing) will vary from 1920s to almost modern pop.
We practise on Wednesdays, 3:30 to 5:30 pm at the Rockfield Community Centre. Contact the Convenor to find out when the next session will be held, if you are interested in having a go.
