We are a group of enthusiastic photographers ranging from relative novices to members with many years’ experience, but all of us looking to help each other with ideas and skills in a mutually supportive group. We usually meet on the first Tuesday of each month, visiting venues of interest in and around Monmouth, practising different shooting techniques to improve our expertise. We spend some sessions in local cafes, informally reviewing our images over a cup of coffee, or running a practical workshop session. If we travel further afield to shoot events on different days, we aim to car share and eat out. We welcome photographers of all abilities or none: owning sophisticated camera equipment isn’t a pre-requisite; your phone camera or a simple point-and-shoot compact camera will take just as good pictures with the right guidance from our members.
