The emphasis is on playing badminton for pleasure and having fun. There is a wide range of ability with some members having played at a high level while others are definitely “average”! However, we alternate partners and opponents and games are almost exclusively doubles with singles being rarely played.
It is a friendly, welcoming group with capacity for new members of any ability. The social aspect of our badminton is frequently extended to ‘apres’ badminton at the local pub!
