Jane is a retired engineering physicist who spends as much time as possible in her astronomical observatory, exploring the universe. She will address the question of how we can find the universe, or at least the local universe, for ourselves. She will use her own photographs to demonstrate the constituents of the universe going out to a distance of a third of a billion light years (yes that is billion, not million). And that’s just the local universe.
