Our first summer event will be on the 10th June when we shall be going by coach to the University of Oxford Museum of Natural History.
It really is a treat to explore from the fabric of the building itself to an amazing collection of well displayed exhibits. The bonus will be that all being well we shall be greeted by two professors — Tony Watts who spoke to us last autumn about Sea Mounts and Mike Searle, a specialist on Himalaya, who will be visiting us next spring.
For further details, please contact Jim Handley.
Departure: 8.30 — Gather at coach pickup point near Waitrose’s commercial vehicle entrance opposite the cattle market car park.
Cost: dependant upon numbers.
