At our February meeting, our member David Morgan gave an enthralling talk on the search for extra-terrestrial intelligence (SETI). For our May meeting, David will pursue the topic further by discussing:

• Do technological civilizations throughout the Galaxy inevitably have short lifetimes?
• What leads to their collapse?
