Off Centre Theatre is proud to present this off-beat classic British play.  It’s set in the seedy lodging houses and fading music halls of 1950s end-of-pier Britain.

Archie Rice is The Entertainer.  He’s a clapped out, tax-dodging, womanising showman, fighting against the tide of change while his long-suffering family, his world, and the British Empire are falling apart.  Will he reinvent himself, build a new life?  Or are the old ways the only tricks this ageing dog can master?  A bittersweet evening awaits.
