Our thanks to Brian for making contact with a retired geologist David Wilshaw. As Brian wrote: “He ran his own geology business as well as being a college lecturer and became an acknowledged expert on sinkholes in the state of Florida. He appeared on a number of TV documentaries on sinkholes in the USA and even relatively recently on our own Channel 5.” We have had the pleasure of talking with David and yes, you have guessed it, sinkholes will probably grab our attention too.
