With the aid of a graphic collection of photographs, he also investigates the curse of widely advertised ‘Sunday supplement miracle remedies’ which can be positively damaging, particularly to older properties.

Spurred on by TV property shows, many homeowners have embarked on ambitious home improvement projects spending thousands of pounds carrying out works that, in some cases, have substantially reduced the value of their homes. By turns hilarious and deeply unsettling, we see here the tragic (and sometimes farcical) results in glorious high definition colour.
