A day out starting with lunch at Ty Newydd hotel and restaurant and culminating with a guided tour of the Penderyn Distillery and a whiskey tasting.

We will set off by coach from the Cattle Market car park in Blestium Street around 10.30, arriving at Ty Newydd ready for a three-course lunch at Ty Newydd.

After a full guided tour of the Penderyn Distillery we will have the option to taste 3 different whiskies – or gin or Merlyn (Penderyn’s answer to Bailey’s).

For those who don’t want to participate in the tasting, there is the option to take away a small (50ml) bottle of whiskey or gin which makes a nice gift for someone.

We will return around 4.30.
