Jane says “This year five Monmouth town gardens are opening for charity on Sunday May 17th, 11.30am – 5.30pm, as part of the National Garden Scheme (NGS). Could you spare an hour that day to help on the welcome stand, which will be in the Monnow Street car park, on Blestium Street, opposite the Chippenham Court flats. We need help to welcome visitors, hand out maps and information and direct them to the participating gardens. As a thank you, we are offering helpers a free ticket to visit the gardens during the day.”
