The idea behind Make Monmouth is for anyone to come along and bring their crafts, hobbies, and other things they’re making to work on in a communal space instead of feeling lonely at their dining table or in their spare room or shed.

They also provide access to equipment that people may not have at home for whatever reason including a craft cutting machine for paper, card, and vinyl, and a 3D printer.  They have soldering irons and some other hand tools to save people bringing their own ones to the space.

The next meeting is Tuesday 18th February, and then the first and third Tuesdays of each month (eventually they want to open more frequently, but this is all we can afford for now!).

They meet at Overmonnow Family Learning Centre

They usually meet in the evening between 7:30pm and 9:30pm, and people are welcome to come along for all or part of the session.  The first visit is free, and then they ask for just £2.50 each visit to cover the cost of insurance etc.  We also offer membership starting at £5/month for those who want to support us and help us grow!
