How far away and how to view it
Keith Moseley
astronomy

Our member Keith Moseley will tell us about the history of measuring the distances of objects in our solar system, achieving a level of accuracy that dates back earlier than you might expect.

Then Keith will show some telescope types, explain what they’re good for, then explain how an equatorial mount for a telescope works and demonstrate how to set one up.
