The Folk and Sea Shanty group is a complementary music and song group for those who would like to explore the rich diversity of folk song material from these islands and from some more distant.

Anyone who would like to exercise their vocals with or without an instrument, to augment proceedings, is profoundly welcome and would also be encouraged to bring examples or material that you may feel appropriate, interesting or humorous.

We meet to sing primarily for fun and you don’t  need any formal knowledge of music theory or any previous choir experience.
