Buckholt Bryngaer is a community activity company which has been awarded a substantial National Heritage Lottery Grant.
Buckholt is just north of Monmouth and Bryngaer means a Welsh Hill Fort.
Gwent Wildlife Trust is working with local communities to encourage people to explore the woodland and to learn more about the Iron Age Hill Fort where there have been very exciting discoveries during a recent dig which you may have read about in the press.
The council’s community development officer, Fiona Wilcox, would like to invite u3a members on an Evening Bat Walk and a Wildlife Walks
