Our next trip will be on Sunday 8th February 2026 for an afternoon concert by the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and Chorus. Once again it is to the Hoddinott Hall in Cardiff. which is an excellent venue – not too far away, subsidised tickets, good acoustics and world class orchestra and soloists.
On this occasion it is a chance to hear a choral concert, as the central work is Poulenc’s wonderful Gloria – and alongside are pieces by Gorecki and a Dvorak Symphony – something for everyone. Here is the link: https://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcnow/
I would expect that the cost would be similar to recent outings at between £35 and £40 per person, inclusive of coach. More accurate figures will depend on the numbers coming.
