“A Multi-faceted Career in Classical Music”

A talk by Dr Jill White FRBC FRAM HonRCM HonDMus(Bristol) FRSA, a former opera singer, Senior BBC Music Producer, Music Director of National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain and award winning CD producer for Sir John Rutter

Jill has had a very long and unusual career. In 1987 she was one of the founding producers of BBC Young Musician of the Year and also established a similar competition between the Czech and Slovak Republics. She was the Artistic Director of the International Festival of Arts in Bournemouth in 1993 and 1994, the first to combine all the arts and sciences. She is also a Freeman of the City of London and a member of The Worshipful Company of Musicians.
