U3a member Stewart Ross would like to start a Wine Tasting and Education Group and will be holding a Taster Session on Wednesday 5th March at 2.30 at Bridges.

Stewart is highly knowledgeable about wine and worked in the industry for many years.

After the initial taster session, meetings will be held monthly on the first Wednesday of the month by booking only.

He says that his intention is to introduce  2 or 3 wines each meeting and discuss their various attributes. You will need to bring 2 glasses to the meetings and Stewart will provide water and biscuits. He is initially going to charge £8 per meeting to cover the cost of the wine and room hire. There will be maximum of  12 members of the group.
