Our next meeting will feature another undoubtedly fascinating talk by our member Dr Keith Moseley. He says:
“In 2001 and 2002, school pupils from Wales and Cornwall were given a chance to see what NASA was doing at the Kennedy and Johnson Space Centers. I was privileged to join the trip and took numerous photographs. We were also accompanied by a BBC documentary film crew. The tours went well beyond the usual visitor routes and showed, in close up, both parts of the International Space Station and the Space Transport System (STS), better known as the Space Shuttle. We also saw several laboratories, the airfield where NASA planes operate and a little known outdoor museum of early rockets and spacecraft.”
